MD Maria Gamvroudi is the Director of the Emergency Department (ED) at Konstantopouleio General Hospital (since 2019) and a Board Member of the Hellenic Society of Emergency Medicine. She serves in the Greek National Health System and has extensive experience in emergency and critical care. She has, previously, worked at the ED of Attikon University Hospital and the ICU of Mytilene General Hospital. She holds subspecialty certifications in Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine, an MSc in Health Services Management (Open University of Cyprus), and an MD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her training includes Respiratory Medicine at Sismanogleio General Hospital and postgraduate training in Sleep Medicine at the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust.
