Alexandra Asrow MD, FACEP is a board-certified Emergency Physician from Chicago, IL USA. Dr. Asrow graduated with honors from Brown University, studied at the University of Bologna, Italy, and is a Fulbright Scholar (Italy). She completed her MD at University of Illinois at Chicago, and her residency at Resurrection Emergency Medicine Residency in Chicago. Dr. Asrow works clinically as a full time Emergency Physician, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine, as well as at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She is the founder and director of Emergency Medicine Global Learning Exchange. Dr. Asrow is a member of the ACEP International Committee, Immediate Past Chair of the ACEP International Ambassador Program, ACEP Lead Ambassador to Italy/Finland, and Chair Elect of the ACEP Global Emergency Medicine Section. She is a member of the IFEM Membership Committee and is involved with many international and country-specific EM organizations. Dr. Asrow is a member of the Chicago Fulbright Association Chapter/Mentorship Committee, and an award-winning community partner at Loyola University Chicago. In her free time, Dr. Asrow enjoys playing music, drawing, traveling, languages, gastronomy, and spending time with her adopted cats.
