Dr. Logan Abel is an Emergency Medicine Physician and the EMS Director at Resurrection Hospital in Chicago, where he currently is training as an ultrasound fellow. He earned his Medical Doctorate and a Master of Science in Population Medicine from Brown University in 2022, subsequently completing his residency at Resurrection in 2025. While his previous research explored global emergency medicine and machine learning for predictive outcomes, his current work focuses on studying point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in the emergency department. Outside of the hospital, Logan is dedicated to mentoring youth and young adults in transforming themselves for the betterment of their communities and enjoys hiking and being outdoors.
